A different kind of support for women and mothers

I’m a licensed mental health counselor (LPC) who works with women and mothers who feel disconnected — from their identity, bodies, sense of self, or the life they thought they’d have. Maybe you’re exhausted in a way that talking alone hasn’t touched. Maybe motherhood cracked something open that you’re still trying to understand. Maybe you’ve done therapy before and it helped your mind, but your body never quite caught up.

That's the gap I work in.

My approach

I’m trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, a body-oriented approach that pays attention not just to what you’re thinking, but to what’s happening in your nervous system — the tension you carry, the responses you can’t quite explain, the patterns that live below words. Alongside this, I draw on 200 hours of yoga teacher training and body-based awareness practices, which shape how I help clients reconnect with breath, sensation, and a felt sense of safety in their own bodies.

In practice, this means our work together isn’t only conversation. It might include noticing what happens in your body as you speak, slowing down to track a sensation, or using breath and movement to help your nervous system settle. You’re always in control of how far into this we go — nothing is forced, and talk therapy remains a core part of our work.

Why I do this work

I’m a mother of two girls, and I care deeply about women’s wellbeing — not as an abstract cause, but because I’ve lived the exhaustion, identity shifts, and pressure that come with caring for others. I learned firsthand why grounding, self-care, and a woman’s physical health aren’t luxuries — they’re essential to the wellbeing of the whole family.

My own path — as a personal trainer, yoga teacher, and now therapist — taught me how deeply body and mind are connected, and everything opened up further when I began combining movement with mindfulness. Over the years I’ve explored moving meditation, body awareness practices, dance meditation, and a 10-day Vipassana course. I believe blending energy work, body awareness, and mind-centering techniques genuinely builds resilience and emotional capacity — and I’m passionate about helping people befriend their own bodies as a resource for mental strength, not something to fight against.

As a Russian immigrant myself, I also understand the disorientation of building a life in a new country — an experience that shapes how I support clients through major life transitions.
